The Love Your Neighbor Award recognizes service, compassion, empathy and significant impact made within our community, and this year, we are honoring the Cassidys. Frank and Kathy are champions of hope and leaders in changing lives in our community.

 

 

Frank and Kathy Cassidy have been donors and volunteers for OLMCOS – Food Pantry, reception, and on the auction and golf committees – for over ten years. Frank was chairman of our board of directors for three years and managed the Neighborhood House renewal project for the board.

 

Frank and Kathy have been Kiawah Island residents since 2000 and are originally from New Jersey, where Frank had a long career in the electric power industry and Kathy taught elementary school, educated dealers for a sewing machine company and was proprietor of an heirloom sewing shop. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2019 and are very proud of their son Brian, daughter Megan and granddaughter Claire.
