VOLUNTEERS IN MINISTRY

Special volunteer programs lasting from 2 weeks to 9 months with housing provided in our Volunteer Housing Unit (The Carpenter's House).

Requirements:

• at least 20 years of age, single or married (no dependents)

• good health

• emotional maturity

• completion of application and interview process

• Christian background and desire to be of service

• openness to living in community with other volunteers

• sense of humor and flexibility

Types of Service:

• tutors (ESL and Homework Buddies)

• home repairs

• social service

• home visiting

• Hispanic ministry

• health education

• office work
